Export document metadata

You can export specified metadata from selected documents during the review stage. The metadata appears in a CSV file.

Perform the following procedure to export metadata.

  1. In the Project page, click .
  2. Show column names in the Document Viewer.
    1. In the Docked Viewer, select a row in the Document List. When the document appears on the right, click to undock the Viewer.
    2. To view column names in the Document List and return to the Docked Viewer, in your browser, select the tab to the left of the current tab.
  3. Select the documents to export.
  4. In the pane, click .
  5. In , select .
  6. In , type a name to identify the export.
  7. In , the available fields appear in the left column and the fields to export appear in the right column. The Document List column names automatically appear as fields to export in the right column. If you modify the Document List columns using >, the fields to export reflect those changes.
    1. To add more fields, select a field from the left column and click to move it to the right column.
    2. As needed, adjust the order of the fields to export by moving them up or down in the right column.
  8. Click . When the CSV file generates, you receive a job completed message.
